Travel Vaccinations in London

Travel vaccinations in London with same-day appointments, from £50.

We are at Portman Square in Marylebone, in the medical district beside Harley Street. Baker Street, Bond Street and Marble Arch stations are each a few minutes on foot. No referral, no registration, and you do not need to live locally. Ideally book six to eight weeks before you fly, because several of these vaccines are courses rather than a single injection. If your trip is sooner than that, come anyway. Some protection started late is better than none.

Bring your itinerary. Where you are going matters, but so does what you will be doing there, how long for, whether you are staying in cities or rural areas, and what you have had before.

A clinician works through your destinations and advises what is needed, what is worth considering, and what you can safely skip. Not every traveller needs every vaccine on the list, and a clinic that recommends all of them to everybody is not doing the job.

    YELLOW FEVER VACCINE IN LONDON

    £95, including the certificate.

Why the certificate matters. Some countries will not let you in without proof of yellow fever vaccination, and some require it only if you have travelled through a risk country on the way. Border officials check the certificate, not your word.

When it becomes valid, the certificate takes effect ten days after vaccination. If you fly sooner than that, it will not be accepted, which is the single most common reason travellers are turned away.

One dose now lasts for life for most people under current international rules, so a certificate from a previous trip may still be valid. Bring it, and we will check rather than revaccinate you unnecessarily

Leaving soon: LAST MINUTE TRAVEL VACCINATIONS IN LONDON

Six to eight weeks before you fly is ideal, because rabies, hepatitis B and Japanese encephalitis are courses given over weeks, not single injections.

If you are flying sooner, it is still worth coming. Several vaccines work from a single dose. Others can sometimes be given on a shortened schedule. Malaria tablets can be started days before departure rather than weeks.

The one hard deadline is yellow fever, where the certificate is not valid until ten days after the injection. That date cannot be moved for anybody.

Same-day appointments are usually available in Bournemouth. Bring your flight date and your itinerary, and you will be told honestly what is achievable in the time you have.

How to Book TRAVEL VACCINATIONS IN LONDON

      1. Step 1

        Book online or call 02080500379,

Same-day appointments are usually available in London.

      2. Step 2

        Bring your itinerary.

Every country you will pass through, your dates, how long you are away, and whether you are staying in cities or going rural.

      3. Step 3

        A travel health consultation.

A clinician works through your destinations and your vaccination history and advises what is needed, what is worth considering, and what you can safely skip.

      4. Step 4

        Vaccinations at the same visit.

Most can be given there and then, and a yellow fever certificate is issued where that vaccine is given.

      5. Step 5

Courses and prescriptions booked before you leave.

Follow-up dates for rabies, hepatitis B, and Japanese encephalitis are booked in rather than left to you to chase, and any malaria prescription is issued at the same appointment.
