- The report is the product, and its speed is usually what the case turns on. A return-to-work decision, a recruitment decision, or an adjustment cannot be made until it lands, and every day it takes is a day the situation stays unresolved.
- Ours is written within 48 hours of the appointment. It sets out fitness for the role, any recommended adjustments, and a timescale where applicable. It is written to be acted on by someone who is not a clinician, which is where most occupational health reports go wrong.
- One thing that genuinely slows a report down, and it is worth knowing before you book: where a case needs records from a GP or a treating specialist, the wait is on them rather than on us.
