Alongside his medical degree, he holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with a research focus on commensal bacteria, the beneficial microorganisms that live in the body. That interest informs a holistic approach to health, recognising the role of the microbiome in immunity, gut health and mental wellbeing.
He built a broad clinical foundation across several specialties during Foundation training at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, and has developed particular interests in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and in Emergency Medicine, fields where he brings calm and clarity to urgent and complex situations. He continues to practise in Emergency Medicine alongside his work at Private Medical Clinic, which keeps his acute skills current rather than remembered.
