Private Medical Clinic

Dr Laraib Malick

Private GP with a Special Interest in Musculoskeletal Medicine

Dr Laraib Malick graduated from Keele University Medical School in 2013 with honours and distinction, and qualified as a GP in 2020, holding Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

She has worked across a number of practices in the East and West Midlands before moving into private healthcare, which has given her a broad view of how the same complaint presents differently across very different patient populations.

Her clinical interest is musculoskeletal medicine, the assessment and management of joint, muscle, tendon and back problems. In practice this means a painful shoulder or knee is examined properly at the first appointment, with a joint injection, imaging request or physiotherapy referral arranged from that visit rather than after a wait.

Away from the clinic she is interested in interior design, walks in the countryside, and cooking food from around the world.

Meet The Team

Dr Laraib Malick is one of twenty-three clinicians and support staff at Private Medical Clinic, working across ten clinics in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, London, Newcastle, Leicester, Bournemouth, Oxford, Derby, Manchester and Cambridge. That matters when a problem crosses a boundary: a skin lesion that needs excising, a memory concern that needs a consultant psychiatrist, a joint that needs an injection. The referral happens inside the same organisation rather than back out to a waiting list.
