Dr Kaley Ainsworth

Medical Doctor with a Special Interest in Mental Health

Dr Kaley Ainsworth graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in Medicine (MBBS), alongside a BSc with Honours in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

She has built clinical experience across several specialties in the North East of England, and her recent focus has been psychiatry, which is now her specialist interest.
Her academic work studied how exercise supports the management of arthritis, and that remains a professional priority. It also gives her an unusual pair of interests to hold at once: the physical and the psychological. In practice that is an advantage, because low mood and chronic joint pain frequently arrive in the same appointment and are rarely separable.
Outside clinical practice she dances, hikes and runs.

Meet The Team

Dr Kaley Ainsworth is one of twenty-three clinicians and support staff at Private Medical Clinic, working across ten clinics in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, London, Newcastle, Leicester, Bournemouth, Oxford, Derby, Manchester and Cambridge. That matters when a problem crosses a boundary: a skin lesion that needs excising, a memory concern that needs a consultant psychiatrist, a joint that needs an injection. The referral happens inside the same organisation rather than back out to a waiting list.
